The Passing of a
Brother

It is with a heavy and sad heart that I must notify you our beloved Vice
President and co founder of our Station 247 Great Lakes Chapter Dean
Hiteshew, passed away this morning, May 4, 2007, due to complications from
the accident yesterday.

Our love and prayers go out to Dean’s family. As information gets to me I
will pass it on to you. Dean was very passionate about riding, he rode
almost year round. I am sure we will make something up to remember Dean
and we will make that available to everyone when we have something.

Deano was leaving his Paramedic class and was riding when a lady pulled
out in from of him. He had nowhere to go so his only option was to lay it
down and he said that Deano somehow ended up between his bike and the car
taking the brunt of the force. The lady had a red light so it was unknown
if she was turning at the intersection or what but she did get cited and
it is also unknown what if any charges she will be facing.
Please everyone be safe and aware of your surroundings.
